She also learnt from Orlando Cole, Bion Tsang,Thomas Gossenbacher and Ariel Barnes. During her study period, she was already actively involved with a variety of musical projects, including working with choreographer and dancer Mui Cheuk-yin.  As a CASH composer, she collaborated with different artists and musicians, such as Jim Tsim Shui-Man.  In 2000 Clara made a recording of Lalo's concerto with RTHK.  She has performed with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, the New Philharmonic of Hong Kong, the Pan-Asia Symphony Orchestra, and the Macau Chamber Orchestra. She has played with the Hong Kong Chamber Orchestra as the principle cellist.

She was invited to join the Pacific Music Festival (2005) in Japan and performed in major cities such as Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Sapporo, with conductors Jun Märkl and Nello Santi. In 2012 she was invited by The Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific in Canada and played under the baton of Arthur Arnold. In 2008 she gave her first cello recital.

She has participated in numerous music videos, live shows and CD recordings for pop singers and music groups of different genres.   In 2011 Clara joined Pony Leung at the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival in an ourdoor concert. Her passion in bringing music to as many people as possible has led her to establish Hong Kong Cellist Society in 2004, which comprised of an annual Hong Kong Cello Festival, Young Musicians Performance Program (YMPP) and Cappuccino Moment. She believes that everyone should have an opportunity to understand and benefit from classical music, and this conviction drives her in the pursuit of finding more ways to connect classical musicians with our society.
