Hong Kong Cellist Society

Founded in 2004, The Hong Kong Cellist Society (HKCS) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization. It is one of the major associations in Hong Kong that promote the art of cello and arouse wider public interest in this beautiful instrument. In the past years, together with Cello Factory, HKCS has participated in various shows and charities performances for guests or organizations, such as Woman Service Association, Jardines Sport Association, Harbour City, Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong and Leisure, Cultural Services Department etc. HKCS has also organized a range of affordable quality courses to general public throughout the year. Two years after the first masterclass in 2004 with Mr. Richard Bamping, HKCS and Cello Factory had again co-presented another masterclass with Mr. Artem Konstantiov. Last year we were very honored to have Mr. Jeffrey Solow to perform a recital and hold a masterclass to all cello lovers in May and June respectively.
