One of the most loved musical instruments of all time, the Cello, especially when supported by its big brother the Double Bass, is the living heart of a vast and diverse array of ensembles. Its listeners also enjoy an abundant and varied repertoire of solo works spanning almost 400 years, which surely has been inspired by its closeness to the human voice.
Black is a uniquely flexible group of musicians comprising 4 Cellos and a Double Bass, which is committed to creating new avenues of music making.
So close your eyes, clear your thoughts, and allow Black to awaken your imagination!
大提琴，古今最受人愛戴的樂器，其音域廣潤，音質柔和而富磁性，以極富張力的高音以及深沉的低音，直達人的心靈深處，最擅表達內心情感，配合好拍檔低音大 提琴時，頓成無與倫比的最佳組合。在過去四百年來，不少音樂家都曾演奏不同格局且優雅豐富的大提琴獨奏曲，充份發揮這個獨奏樂器的華麗技巧，以及如人聲般 悠然的醉人樂章。
由四位獨當一面的大提琴家及一位低音大提琴家在香港創團的Black，以高度靈活多變的演奏技巧，配合極富創意與靈動的音樂編排，矢志開創當代音樂的新篇。
